My Story

Katelyn Bertoldo, Certified Integrative Health Coach

I've been deeply committed to a lot of things in life, but I've also learned what happens when balance isn't there.

I grew up as a multi-sport athlete, with soccer being my main focus. By the end of high school, I made a decision that shifted everything, I decided to hang up the cleats and go to Auburn University. I wanted something different for myself: a new environment, new experiences, and a chance to figure out who I was outside of sports.

Coming out of quarantine and into college, life felt very unstructured at first. I naturally leaned into the social side of college, and I hadn't figured out balance yet. By sophomore year, I realized I had drifted away from the discipline I grew up with as an athlete. That was the first time I felt like I had lost a version of myself I respected.

So I rebuilt.

I started waking up early again, 5 a.m. gym sessions before class. Getting my workout done first thing helped me take control of my day. That routine gave me structure, but also freedom. I could go to school, see friends, go out, travel, and still stay consistent with my health. That was the first time I truly understood what balance actually meant for me.

After graduating, I stepped into a demanding sales role where I gave everything I had. Over time, my personal routines started to slip again, my eating, fitness, sleep, and overall health fell off. That's when I started to notice a pattern: I tend to go all in on whatever I'm focused on, whether it's school, work, or lifestyle. The challenge for me has never been effort. It's been balance.

I learned that discipline isn't about restriction or cutting things out. It's about building structure so everything in your life can coexist. From there, I rebuilt again, more intentionally this time. I created routines I actually enjoyed and could sustain, and started sharing my journey online.

Through all of it, one thing became clear: everyone is different. What works for one person doesn't always work for another. Real change comes from learning how to build routines that fit your actual life, not trying to force a life that doesn't fit you.

Through personalized coaching, accountability, and a whole-person approach, I help clients create routines that actually fit their lifestyles, so they can thrive in their careers, maintain meaningful relationships, pursue personal goals, stay consistent with nutrition, and still have space for going out, having fun, and experiencing life.
